Continental tortoiseshell and silver mounted spoon warmer, 18th or 19th Century, with hinged cover, silver mounts with engraved details, raised on a turned tortoiseshell stem and base, height 12cm, width 11cm; also a continental agate and gilt metal mounted pedestal cup, 19th Century, height 10.5cm x 8cm (2)

Condition: The tortoiseshell is generally in good condition. There are three tiny chips to the foot rim. The shell itself is nicely patinated. The silver is unmarked. The agate cup has a lean and at the base there may be a repair (see image). There appears to be a crack in the agate on the foot. The metal appears to be unmarked.
