Fees

Late Victorian silver walnut and marquetry serving tray, maker CF, Sheffield 1882, canted rectangular form centred with a satinwood and boxwood inlaid oval panel, bordered with a silver gallery, raised on silver ball feet, 46cm x 33cm

More Information

The wooden base of the tray has had some restoration, probably due to water damage and the veneer on the right hand side of the tray is lifting very slightly and there has been some inlay let in (not bad restoration though). The base is a little loose in the silver gallery. The gallery itself is in fairly good condition. Slight bend on one side. The odd small dent. Hallmarks are clear. All silver has conforming hallmarks.
