Pair of Victorian china vases, circa 1845, of slender campagna form, decorated with a landscape vignette in colours bordered with gilt against a cobalt blue ground, the baluster base moulded with acanthus leaves, over a circular foot, painter's mark '155', height 17.5cm

Wear to the gilt, both on the upper rim and the tops of the handles and the line around the base. There is also some wear to the gilt detailing on the body of the vase (see images). Partially gilded factory chip, which is tiny, on the rim of one of the vases. No further damage found.
