More Information

There may well have been an arch over the kneeholes but there is not much evidence for that. There are knocks and scrapes throughout, consistent with use. Fading. Drawer linings are pine. There are the odd splits running horizontally through three of the drawers. Some loss of veneer and wear around the plinth base. The desk does come apart, ie the top and two pedestals are the central components.
