There is a little play in the frames but not much. The upholstery is the major problem with these chairs, it all needs redoing. There is the odd minor knock to the woodwork, particularly at the front of one of the forearms. Minor knocks and scrapes around the feet consistent with normal use. No further problems to report (see images).
