Fees

Pair Chinese blue and white lidded vases in Ming style, 18th Century, each having a domed cover with pomegranate finial over an inverted baluster body with moulded lion mask and ring handles, decorated throughout with scrolling lotus flower and pomegranate within a line of lappets to the neck and leaves to the base, height 47cm

More Information

There are minute glaze chips to the points on the edge of the finial on one of the covers. One of the vases has a body crack. This appears to start just slightly above the lappets around the base and then curves upwards to just beneath the ring handle and then curves downwards to the middle of the vase. There is no other damage. The other vase is in good condition with no damage detected.
