Pair of William IV silver candlesticks, Sheffield 1837, in Rococo Revival style, removable nozzle over a baluster stem worked with acanthus, on a shaped circular base worked with shells and rocaille, engraved with the crest of a lion rampant (loaded), height 23cm

The nozzles have some damage, knocks and silver repairs visible on both. One of the sticks is very slightly shorter than the other by perhaps 1 - 2 mm. They are both fairly vertical. There is the odd spot of silver solder repair visible and denting around the base on the edge.

No further damage detected.
