Thick impasto throughout. The canvas is a little loose. The paint is thin in places, especially along the lower edge where there is canvas showing. Within the beach a couple of spots where again canvas is showing.
Overall the image is spontaneous and confident.
The frame, which is original from when it was purchased, is in good condition.
