Victorian painted papier mache tray, circa 1850, oval form decorated with a floral bouquet within a gilded painted border, 75cm x 60cm

Condition overall is good. There is some crackelure visible in the right light to the centre of the tray. The painting is bright with little signs of wear. The gilt inner boarder has some small losses, see images. The outer gilt boarder also has some patches of loss and wear. At one end there is a small hair crack with and associated chip on the underside rim. No makers' marks
