Four silver topped glass scent bottles, including a yellow moulded glass example decorated with tulips, the cap hallmarked Birmingham 1901, 6cm; cut glass conical example, London 1894, 8.5cm; and two cut glass cylindrical scents, both Birmingham 1906, 7cm

More Information

Yellow scent - probably a smelling salts bottle. The cap is pierced and has pinprick dents on the sides. Screws down nicely. No stopper being a smelling salts bottle. The bottle itself is good but for imperfections within the manufacture which appear as hair cracks on the body. These do show up when light is shone through the bottle and may compromise its integrity.

The conical bottle - light dents to the screw top. Monogrammed. Some wear to the hallmarks, cork in tact. Silver screw mount. Minute chipping visible on the body with a 10x loupe.

The two remaining cylinder bottles; one is wearing thin to the point of pinprick hole, hallmarks worn, abrasive marks. No stopper. Minute chips to the body visible through a 10x loupe. The last bottle has denting to a pinprick hole. No stopper. Again minute chips through a 10x loupe on the body.
