Art Deco silver and pearlescent enamelled dressing table set, by Walker & Hall, Birmingham 1936, comprising hand mirror, two hairbrushes, two clothes brushes and a comb back (teeth missing), all inset with an opal slither within a guilloche enamelled ground, in a fitted case

One of the hairbrushes has half of the opal missing; on the other one the opal has a tiny corner chip. The silver has minor knocks to the edges of the hairbrushes; one has a chip to the enamel at the neck of the handle and on the same brush the opal has a chip to one corner and cracks in the other corner. The other hairbrush has a chip to the corner of the opal.

The mirror has a tiny chip to the enamel on the neck of the handle, a crack through the opal and minute chip at one corner.

The comb has no tines whatsoever.

There are minor scratches throughout the enamel on all pieces.

Minor scuffs to the outer case. No further damage detected.
