Set of six silver old English pattern dessert spoons, by Hester Bateman, London 1777, low marks, each engraved with a crest of a horse's head, weight approx. 201g (6.46 troy ozs)

All are similarly engraved. Hallmarks are all good. The nose of the bowl, whilst not being flat has not excessively thinned. One bowl has a slight crease at the shoulder. There is the odd minor pinprick dent visible on the underside of the bowls, but nothing too onerous.
