Fees

Boodle & Dunthorne diamond three stone ring, the central old round cushion cut diamond of approx. 1.8cts, flanked on either side with a further old cushion cut diamond of approx. 0.5ct each, total diamond weight estimated as 2.8cts, in scrolled claw mounts in 18ct yellow gold, size G-H, gross weight approx. 6.6g

More Information

We estimate the centre stone as being H or J in colour. SI 1/2. The side stones possibly J or K and they are of similar clarity. There is a visible chip to the girdle of one of the side stones, but no chips can be found elsewhere but this does not negate the fact that there may be chips hidden beneath the mounts. All the mounts are good and within the two central mounts there are hidden four tiny rose diamonds. Hallmarks are clear. Ring size as catalogued G/H (beads on inside).

Inclusions cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Gold mounts are made by Boodle & Dunthorne, probably in the 1980s; the diamonds are clearly early 20th Century if not earlier.
