Fees

North Wales oak dresser, circa 1820, having a boarded plate rack with dentil carved cornice and three shelves, over a base fitted with three short upper drawers centred with three faux drawers with two panelled cupboard doors, opening to a later shelf, raised on stile supports, width 141cm, height 206cm, depth 49cm

More Information

Some slither losses and running repairs to the cornice. Beneath the dentil moulding there are a number of holes, probably used for cuphooks, also holes at the front of the top shelf. The cornice has a piece missing on the right-hand side. There are splits to the back panels of the plate rack. Nicely patinated top with gapping between the planks. There are replaced handles throughout. The lock plates are missing. There are chips and knocks to the edges of the drawers.

Inside there is a new shelf and holes in the backboards. Usual knocks and scrapes around the base and a length of moulding missing on the bottom of the left-hand side.

No further damage to report.
