Fees

French ormolu clock garniture, the timepiece with Roman numerals set within a square pillar form case, flanked with Bacchanalian masks over a galleried base, flanked by a pair of cherub candlesticks after Rousseau, emblematic of Night, the clock 24cm x 26cm, the sticks 23cm

More Information

Both the clock and the candlesticks would benefit from re-gilding. The candlesticks especially are patchy in appearance, see images.

The clock itself seems to have faired better. It does not maintain power when wound and there is currently no key. Externally the clock is in a dirty but relatively untouched condition and would benefit from cleaning and general maintenance or restoration.
