Tortoiseshell and silver line inlaid ring box, circa 1820, domed rectangular form, the hinged cover with a vacant silver cartouche, raised on ivory ball feet, 11.5cm x 7cm

Condition is very good externally. The interior is missing its original divisions and the silk pleating within the cover is shot. The lid closes crisply. Ivory ball feet are original, two having a hair crack.
