Rare pair of Charlotte Rhead tubelined tiles, one featuring Chester Cathedral, the other a castle, monogrammed lower right, each housed within a contemporary oak frame, 11cm x 15cm

Chester Cathedral tile: Being very critical there is some minor rubbing to the central part of the tile where there is a tree on the upper edges, visible only through a 10x loupe. There is the odd glaze crackelure visible through a 10x loupe. There is also a surface scratch in the lower left corner. Mounted and sealed within a contemporary oak frame.
Castle tile: some crackelure visible to the naked eye particularly in the sky area and visible elsewhere when viewed through a 10x loupe.
