Good Victorian walnut and inlaid davenport, circa 1860-75, having a brass three-quarter gallery and slope front with tooled green leather writing surface, opening to two small burr wood fronted drawers, over five short drawers to one side with boxwood foliate inlays and turned wooden knobs, opposing similar blind drawers, the front with a recessed burr panel inlaid with a laurel wreath and supported with acanthus carved scroll brackets, all raised on beaded bun feet with concealed brass castors, width 48cm, depth 64cm, height 86cm
