There is some fine crackelure visible in places. Some overpainting visible in the upper right corner and along the right hand edge and also in the uppermost sky area and slightly on the left hand edge (see images). There are a couple of vertical lines approx. 8cm in length each in the water where it looks as if something has been spilled and run down the canvas before being cleaned off. When viewed under UV light there is overpainting within the lines of the crackelure within the mid sky area. The painting is in the original frame, with minor losses, discolouration and degradation to the gilt.
