Fine George IV mahogany mantel timepiece by Bridgman & Brindle, London, circa 1825, the quality Cuban mahogany case carved with acanthus scrolls flanking a 8.5cm silvered dial with Roman numerals, signed to the chapter ring and numbered '168', with engine turned details, fusee movement, signed to the back plate, height 24cm, width 16.5cm

The case overall is in very good condition with well figured grain of undeniably good quality. Some minor knocks to the extremities of the carved front. The movement is currently ticking when asked, the pendulum swinging freely when released from its locking nut, but please do note our special conditions of sale regarding clocks and watches. The clock comes with two keys and a small locking key for the front door.
