Hammer
£450
Oak refectory table, Mid 17th Century and later, three plank top patinated and with some old graffiti, raised on a moulded frieze and chamfered square section legs, length 241cm, width 93cm, height 77cm
More Information
Condition: the table top is good and has al the hallmarks of age and use including carved initials. Old knocks, scrapes, scratches. It is a little dull in appearance but the patina is under there somewhere! The legs and frame appear contemporary although there are let-in blocks, particularly at one end (see images), indicating that this may have been a much longer table at some point. There are small running repairs as would be expected in a table of this age. The top is currently loose from the base.
