More Information
Condition: The inkstand is in good condition with very slight warping on the base, but the stand still sits flat. All feet are good. No losses to the silver appliques and inlay. The tortoiseshell is looking a little dry. One of the inkwells has a chip at the shoulder. No further damage detected. Hallmarks are clear. The tray: the silver bellflower border is lifting in one corner, simply needs re-attaching and there is a small lift at the back of the tray. Slight scratches consistent with use and age, but generally good.
