Minor knocks and scrapes, particularly at the tops of the forelegs and around the bottoms of the forelegs. These are consistent with normal use and general wear and tear. There are similar knocks and scrapes at the tops of the uprights, all of which are quite minor, and would require some attention or light restoration.
The rush seating appears to be generally good. There is the odd raised or worn rush, particularly in the corners of the seats. All differ in shade, dependent on the amount of use that they have encountered over time which is quite normal for a set of chairs.
All frames are solid.
The height of the forearm of one of the carvers is 62cm, the arm graduates to half of the arm being 62.5cm, three-quarters of the arm being 68cm.
The back of the armchair to the top of the upright being 75cm.
