Good Queen Anne oak low dresser, the top with moulded edge over three drawers with later brass fretwork handles and escutcheons, lower moulded edge, all raised on turned legs with reduced ball feet, width 208cm, depth 53cm, height 78cm

More Information

The top is pegged and is of good colour and patination and edged with walnut. The drawer fronts are similarly finished, the central drawer having a small piece of walnut let-in; the same drawer has a small section of moulded edge missing. There are later handles and escutcheons, steel locks. There is a small split in the carcass above the central drawer and a small loss to the moulding underneath the top to the left hand side. All with good patination and colour. The legs have recesses cut which may have originally accommodated a pot board base. There are some old woodworm flight holes which can be seen to the drawer linings.
