Oak boarded coffer, circa 1670, single plank top with moulded edge over an interior with candle box, channel moulded outlines to the face and sides, width 117cm, depth 40cm, height 62cm

The plank top is slightly bowed and is well patinated. The hinges, whilst not being original, are at least 18th Century. Lock plate is missing and an additional piece is let in. There are extensions to the feet. Split up the right hand side from the base running approx. 10'', this is closed and not detrimental to the piece. No further problems.
