Victorian burr walnut twin pedestal desk, gilt tooled green leather inset top over three moulded frieze drawers and three further drawers to each pedestal, each with brass laurel wreath ring handles, width 122cm, depth 75cm, height 74cm

Condition: This desk has been fully restored but despite this there are still some small losses to the veneer on the back of one of one of the pedestals. There are small knocks to the extremities with very small losses. The leather top is a new replacement, together with the restoration programme there have been some small areas of replaced veneers. Original, working keys. Since then the desk has seen use and has the hallmarks of being used being small knocks and scrapes, fading to the left hand side. There are well figured veneers on the back of the desk. No evidence of woodworm. Overall a good colour, good figuring and a nice example.
