Both pictures are behind glass and spotting can be seen behind the glass but it appears to be on the glass itself as opposed to one the pictures. However because of the closeness of the picture to the glass the spotting may have left an impression on the paper. Elsewhere on 'Disappointment' there is some spotting and we have tried to take images. The framing is original and the backboards bear the original label. 'Persuasion' simply looks a little soiled with some minor spotting lower left and lower right corner and a little half way up the right hand side. Original framing and label on the backboards. In both cases the frames are a little tatty due to age and general neglect.
