George VI silver and enamelled part vanity set, by Henry Clifford Davis, Birmingham 1951, comprising hand mirror, hair brush, clothes brush and powder bowl, each decorated with scenes of kingfishers in colours against a pearlescent ground (4)

Condition: There is some spotting to the mirror on the lower part of the border (see image). There is some contact wear on the mirror where it has been stored face down, with the enamel up. Hallmarks are clear. The odd tiny sharp dent (see image). The enamels are good. The hair brush is good, with just the odd fine scratch. Small knocks to the silver, nothing too onerous. Hallmarks are clear. Clothes brush enamels are good, having just the odd small scratch. The silver is good. Hallmarks are clear. The jar has good enamels with just the odd tiny scratch. Hallmarks are clear. No major issues to the silver and the glass is good.
