Pair of Scottish silver fiddle pattern basting or serving spoons, by Alexander Mitchell, Glasgow 1832, each engraved with an 'H', in a later presentation case, weight approx. 241g

Both are engraved with an 'H'. Minor surface scratches consistent with age and use. Hallmarks are clear. The noses of the spoons are flat. One of the spoons has some tiny pinprick nicks to the edge (see image). One of the bowls has some scuff marks to the back. No further damage detected. The presentation case has scuff marks and a small tear to one side, and another, consistent with age and use.
