Late George III mahogany folding circular dumb waiter, by Thomas Wilmott (1800-39), having a circular swivel folding top with reeded edge, 48.5cm diameter, over a similar, larger shelf, raised on turned and ringed columns with three reeded splayed legs with brass toes and castors, original paper label, height 89cm, maximum width 56cm
NB: Thomas Wilmott was working from 16 John St, Oxford St, London. Patent furniture appears to have been his speciality. A set of chairs at the Palace of Tullgarn, Sweden, bear his label.
