Fine Victorian walnut and inlaid credenza, well figured and well patinated throughout, having a foliate inlaid frieze over a central glazed door with ormolu mounts, opening to a central velvet covered shelf, flanked on either side with convex glazed panel doors opening to two small shelves, raised on a shaped apron base, with ormolu appliques throughout, width 173cm, depth 44cm, height 110cm

Condition is very good. This piece has been professionally restored and is of a very good colour. The mounts are a little dull in appearance but are in good original condition. Inside, the velvet lined interior appears to be original. It has numerous marks consistent with use and age. The two front block supports (see image) have been replaced, as has one from the right hand side whilst the one on the left appears to be original, which has a tiny veneer loss. The cabinet does not have a key, but all the locks are present and all the doors are unlocked.
