Fees

Elizabeth II silver and enamelled vanity set, by Henry Clifford Davis, Birmingham 1953, enamelled with lily-of-the-valley against a pink guilloche ground, comprising hand mirror, hair brush and clothes brush, in original Finnegan's fitted case (comb deficient)

More Information

Condition: There are minor surface scratches to the enamel on the clothes brush. Some small sharp dents on the edges of the silver. On the hand mirror again there are small scratches to the enamel and some small sharp dents on the edge of the silver (see images). Small dent bordering the mirror, the mirror itself being in good condition. Fine surface scratches, as one would expect, to the silver on the handle. The hair brush seems to be in better condition although there is still the odd small dent and scratches to the silver on the handle. All the enamel appears to be good. The hallmarks are clear. The case has some brown staining to the silk on the inside of the cover. Minor knocks and wear consistent with normal use to the exterior of the box. NB: There is no comb to the set.
