Fees

George IV mahogany extending dining table, circa 1825, the top with D-shaped ends, with a reeded edge, accommodating two extra leaves, on double leg pull out supports, and four matching turned and reeded tapered legs, all with brass cup castors, length when extended 277cm, closed 162cm, width 142cm, height 73cm

More Information

The table has two additional leaves, one of which is a faded to a lighter colour than the other leaf but is comparable with the table itself. There are numerous scratches and the table top would benefit from re-polishing. One end of the table is faded. The pullout mechanism works well. All the legs are in good condition and all the D-clips are present. All in all a good sturdy table which would benefit from some restoration. No makers marks or stamps
