Good oak tambour desk, fully fitted interior with a number of small drawers and longer drawers, with brass labelled thumbpiece handles, over two pedestals, each with a pull out slide and four drawers with wooden cup handles, flanking a central kneehole drawer, width 127cm, depth 82cm, height 128cm

Condition: Overall this is a very good example of this type of desk. The escutcheon around the keyhole is missing. There is some wear around the hand holes of the tambour consistent with normal use. All the drawers inside the tambour are present. We have the key to lock the tambour. Currently the upper left drawer is locked. This is due to a locking bar which is within the carcass and appears to be malfunctioning in some way. All the other drawers are good to open. There are no partitions within the drawers. Overall the desk has a very good colour.
