Russian marine chronometer, circa 1980-90, mahogany cased with carrying handles and brass supports, double opening to a 10cm dial within a brass gimbal, width 19cm, depth 19cm, height 20.5cm

The case appears to be re-stained in an amateur fashion. It is looking rather red in appearance. The brass mounts have also been 'restored' and show signs of fine abrasions. The chronometer itself is currently working. The key is present.
