Victorian silver tea caddy, by Nathan & Hayes, Birmingham 1895, lobed inverted baluster form, repousse decorated with floral garlands and shell details, raised on four paw feet (a/f), height 15cm, weight approx. 249g

The caddy has been polished to the point of holes and is very thin at the extremities. There are some light dents. The hallmark is clear, the maker's mark slightly rubbed. Bend to the finial. Slight gapping at the close of the lid. Condition overall is poor.
