Hammer
£300
George III mahogany dumb waiter, pedestal form with two circular moulded edge shelves, on a turned and reeded baluster column, over splayed reeded legs with brass toes and castors, height 105cm, maximum width 63cm
More Information
The top tray has some old scratches, some red wine or ink spots. There is the odd minor small knock to the moulded edge. It is a little wobbly on its pedestal, probably not assisted by the break that is in the collar underneath the top (see image).
The lower tray again has some minor surface scratches, some ink spots, but again the odd minor knock to the moulded edge.
Both trays are well patinated and are of good even colour. The column throughout is good. The splayed legs are good, again with good originality and patina. All the brass toes and castors are original. Overall a good well patinated and nicely coloured example.
