Estimate

Fees

Mahogany glazed freestanding corner cabinet, 19th Century, having a swan neck pediment centred with an urn finial over an astragal glazed door opening to three fabric covered shelves, over a base fitted with a recessed panel cupboard door opening to two shelves, raised on bracket feet, width 73cm, height 217cm

More Information

The central finial is a crudely carved replacement and is loose. Inside the upper cabinet the cloth lining is stained throughout with rusty tacks holding it in place. The whole of the front is of good colour and well patinated. There are some veneer replacements on the left hand side just above the base. There is what appears to be a burnt knock midway up the left hand side. There are old woodworm flightholes running up the left hand side of the top. These have been filled.
