George III silver teapot, maker's mark indistinct, London 1800, of half reeded form with ebony finial and handle, height 17.5cm, gross weight approx. 579g (18.6 troy ozs)

Crude repairs and file marks on the underside of the spout. Repair and solder to the body. Handle is replaced. Inscription on the underside. Traces of a removed inscription on the cartouche. Solder repairs visible around the base of the spout. Surface scratches and the odd small dent.
