George IV Scottish silver stuffing or basting spoon, maker Heron, Edinburgh 1824, fiddle pattern and initialled 'H', length 31cm, weight approx. 118g (3.79 troy ozs)

More Information

The condition generally is good. The nose of the spoon is flat. It is initialled with an upper case 'H'. The hallmarks are clear. The underside of the bowl has fine scratches consistent with age, wear and tear. The bowl has something stuck to it at one edge, see image. We have viewed this through a 10x loupe and feel that it could easily be removed with some polish, i.e. it doesn't look to onerous.
