George III mahogany tea caddy, circa 1790, sarcophagus form opening to twin caddies and vacant recess for a mixing bowl, raised on bracket feet, width 25.5cm

On the cover there is a tiny slither loss to the moulding at the edge of the caddy top. On the front of the caddy there is a solitary wormhole. The handle is original. the brass escutcheon on the face is a later replacement and earlier holes can be seen behind this. There is no key. The lock is present. There is no zinc lining to the caddies. No mixing bowl. The feet are original. Colour is good.
