Hammer
£320
Chippendale Revival mahogany kidney shaped lady's writing desk, circa 1910, with leather inset top over a gadrooned edge, fitted with a configuration of five drawers around a central kneehole and raised on acanthus carved swan neck legs with claw and ball feet, width 120cm, depth 73cm, height 76cm
More Information
The leather top has numerous ring marks, wear and scuffs and is generally worn and dry. The back of the table is faded (see image). The front is a good colour. The piece has previously been varnished, which is now wearing. The handles to the central drawer and the two on the right are upside down. All drawers run freely. There are no keys present. A good sturdy piece that would benefit from some restoration and re-polishing.
