Edwardian silver and pique tortoiseshell jewellery box, Chester 1907, formed as a grand piano, maker's mark rubbed, 13.5cm x 11cm, gross weight approx. 310g

More Information

Condition: There is a bend to the piano cover which means that it doesn't close completely. Leaves a gap at one end of approx. 2mm. The velvet has been replaced. There are two breaks to the tortoiseshell on the cover, visible from the inside but not so much from the exterior. There appears to be a repair to the rear leg as it joins the body. The hallmarks on the side of the piano are rubbed. Light dents are visible in places. Light scratches also.
