French giltwood and upholstered cameo back armchair, late 19th Century, the upholstered pad back, arms and seat in pale blue fabric, acanthus carved forearms, turned and tapered fluted forelegs, height 98cm, width 65cm

The upholstery is good. The framework has been 're-gilded' and has a bronze appearance rather than a bright gilt colour. The odd small knock to the extremities consistent with normal use. Overall a good looking chair.
