Austrian enamelled silver gilt cigarette case, circa 1910, of cushioned rectangular form, decorated with blue enamelled horizontal strips with gilded foliate details, gilt interior, marked '935' and 'Sterling Austria', 8cm x 5.5cm

On the lid there is a chip to the blue enamel on one of the lines and some associated touching up. There are other chips on the underside and the edges, some visible to the naked eye, others through a 10x loupe. Marks are clear. There are also cracks visible through a 10x loupe on much of the enamel on the underside.
