French gilt ormolu mantel clock, by Japy Fils, in Rococo Revival style, with scrolling acanthus enclosing a white enamel dial with blue Roman numerals, signed by the retailer Henry Bright, Leamington, the movement striking on a bell, all raised on a rocaille and scrolled base, height 35cm, width 27.5cm

More Information

The ormolu case is in nice and bright. There are some chips around one of the winding holes, the other appears to be good. There is a stress fracture to the rear left leg (see image). The clock has key and pendulum. We cannot comment on the working condition of the clock, other than that it ticks freely without its pendulum when moved.
