The mirror does have the appearance of having been -regilded', having an allover slightly bronzed and burnished look and shows signs of restoration, for example the block underneath the pilaster on the right hand side is new. There may be elements of the cornice that are also new. In our view the central plate is replaced. The outer plates have evidence of spotting, the central plate is completely clear. The back board is plywood.
