Victorian carved oak extending dining table, and a set of twelve oak barleytwist dining chairs, the table having a carved edge and accommodating two leaves (no winder), length 238cm, width 120cm, height 71.5cm, raised on acanthus carved baluster legs with pot castors; the chairs in Carolean Revival style, with barleytwist uprights and forelegs, rexine drop in seats (13)

The table has undergone a full restoration. The top has been repolished and varnished to a honeyed oak colour. The leaves are well matched (varnished). This is a wind-out table but there is no winder with it. The castors are original. There are some knocks to the legs consistent with use, post restoration.
The chairs have also been restored and whilst they do not match the table, they are of a similar colour. The chairs are sturdy and the seat pads are in good condition. There is some water spotting and slight fading on the backs of the chairs. Usual knocks and scrapes around the extremities consistent with use.
No further damage to report.
