Late Victorian burr walnut library bookcase, by T H Filmer & Sons, Oxford Street, London, having three adjustable shelves and boarded back, over a cabinet base with two moulded panel doors opening to a single shelf, raised on a plinth base, width 138cm, depth 41cm, height 218cm

The curved piece on top of the bookcase is a later addition. The walnut throughout is well figured and nicely patinated. The central beaded edge adjacent to the keyhole on the bottom doors is later. There are minor knocks and scrapes to the base. There is a small section of wood from the back edge of the upper part that is missing (see image).
No further issues; altogether an attractive bookcase.
Additional information 3.7.23 - there is no warping to do the doors. There is no key.
