English provincial silver beaker, circa 1690, slight tapered form with an engraved band of tulips and daffodils and a pricked date of 1704 to the rim with initials, the base marked 'Ster Ling' within a square, maker's initials 'RH' conjoined, marked twice (see Jackson, page 519 describing a rat-tail gravy spoon with a pricked date of 1719), height 8.5cm, weight approx. 112g

Condition: The beaker is of a good gauge. It is slightly out of round. There are pinprick nicks to the rim. Some indentation around the footrim and further pinprick nicks. Minor surface scratches throughout consistent with age.
